The Browning Gold Hunter was and is a very popular semi automatic shotgun having an excellent balance and good handling characteristics makes it a fine choice for any kind of field shooting.  The gas operating system is reliable and based on time proven designs also having the ability to fire 2 ¾ and 3” shells means there should be no problem taking on any kind of game they’re designed for.  The action of this gun is clean with no marks or scratches.  The barrel retains almost all it’s original blue.  The barrel has a ventilated rib.  The wood work is in excellent condition with no scratches or gouges in the stocks themselves or the checkering.  An excellent 1” thick factory pad is fitted and also quick detachable swivel studs.  Worth looking at if you’re chasing down a new field gun.
