When I first started in the gun trade they were considered one of the best value for money guns and one of the strongest guns you could buy. They are incredibly well made and they are still very popular. This one is a good tidy example having only lost a bit of the lacquer finish on the stock. There are no splits or cracks or large dings. The metal work is also in pretty good condition having lost only a small amount of bluing around the receiver where you hold it with your hand while walking. The gun is double triggered, has an automatic safety. These Baikals are very good value second hand and are well worth considering if you’re looking for a good side by side.
