Czech made rifles have been a favourite rimfire amongst Kiwi’s since the Brno Model 1’s and 2’s came out in the 1950’s. They continue to be a favourite with lots of exciting new models available that set them apart from other manufactures.

The Rimfire rifles produced by Ceska Zbrojovka Uhersky Brod are among the most sought-after firearms in the world.

The CZ 452 actions are manufactured from steel billets not tubing or plastic, the barrels are hammer forged for accuracy and long life. The trigger is adjustable for weight, and the safety is located above the rear of the bolt and provides a positive firing pin block.

CZ 452 Varmint is a heavy barrel version of the American, featuring a 21" heavy barrel and is made without open sights, but with dovetail groove. Varmint in .22 LR features 11mm dovetail while .17 HMR FEATURES 3/8" DOVETAIL.
The stock is Turkish walnut and has a heavier forend to allow for the barrel.
