We don’t get to see a lot of European semi automatic rifles.  Some are a lot better than others.  The Brno 511 fits into the bracket better than others.  It would be one of the more reliable semi auto rifles coming from Europe.  This one is all original with it’s factory fitted sights; dovetailed receiver.  It is stripped down easily.  The bluing has approximately 90% remaining.  The wood stock has suffered some handling marks and a few dings, but the checkering in original finish is all still there.  Someone has thoughtfully fitted a rubber recoil pad. Although the swivels for the sling are missing, the holes are there.  The manufacturing date on the side of the rifle is 1993, so the gun is not too old at all.  These are an extremely well made gun, offering excellent accuracy, good reliability and excellent strength of build like most things built by Brno.  If you have a love affair with European rifles, this could be another one to your collection.\
