Comment:

We haven’t seen one of these Sportco pump action 22’s for quite a few years now.  Thankfully most of them are still going strong.  They were a well made rifle, manufactured in Australia and had a good reputation for reliability and accuracy.  The example shown here is fitted with open sights, and the receiver has been dovetailed to accept scope rings.  The woodwork is in good condition, but the finish is scratched off in some areas, making it look untidier than it really is.  The barrel and mechanical operation is perfect.  Well worth considering if you don’t like semi automatic rifles, but would like a rifle that is almost as fast in it’s operation.  A pump action is certainly fast operating if you’ve never used one.
