Gun City has just landed a small shipment of Volquartsens in 22LR.

Nobody, but nobody, makes better crafted or higher quality custom rimfire rifles than Volquartsen Custom. Several models are available, and each and every one is beautiful to behold as well as a delight to shoot. The secret is in our choice of absolute top of the line materials ... our obsession with attention to detail ... and our insistence on uncompromising, precision craftsmanship.

Some of the thoughtful features that come standard in our Volquartsen Rimfire Rifles include:

* CNC machined stainless steel receivers with integral Weaver style mounts for absolute perfect, permanent alignment.

* Every barrel features a match chamber and match bore with 0.0001" bore tolerance from muzzle to breech (maximum) and a standard .920" bull barrel design.

* Our own TG2000 CNC machined trigger guard.

Our Lightweight Model semi-auto rimfire is no lightweight except in terms of weight. It features an 18.375" carbon fiber lightweight THM tension barrel with a compensator. Our lightweight barrel ensures the shooter all the accuracy of a heavy barrel without the additional weight. This is another ideal rifle for plinking, hunting, or just all around shooting fun!! SPECIFICATIONS FOR VOLQUARTSEN SEMI-AUTO RIMFIRE RIFLES

Receivers:

 CNC machined from a solid block of stainless steel to exacting tolerances (except the Superlite). The match barrel is threaded into the receiver for added rigidity

* .22 WMR and .17 HMR machined to accept the Ruger JMX-1 (77/22 WMR) rotary magazine.

* .22 LR and .17 HM2 are machined to accept the Ruger BX-1 rotary magazine.

Barrels:

 Each barrel is meticulously machined to mate in its receiver. The barrels are stainless steel and have match chambers that are liquid honed through a special honing process. This process enables each chamber to be cut in perfect alignment with the bore to ensure the ultimate in accuracy. The rifling is done in conjunction with the special honing process. The stainless steel match barrel bore dimension is held within .0001" from breech to muzzle. Each barel is then machined with our own target crown to complete the barrel design. The stainless steel barrels are all 18.5" long while the lightweight barrel is 16.5". The compensator will add 1.5" of overall length. 

Triggers:

The TG2000 comes standard on all of our .22 WMR, .17 HMR, and .22 LR rifles. 

Bolts:

The bolt is CNC machined from a special alloy. It features our hardened EDM extractor along with a titanium firing pin. 

Springs:

The hammer spring and the bolt recoil rod spring are cryogenically stress relieved enabling these springs to withstand thousands of cycles with no fracture or set to the spring. 

Accuracy:

 .22 WMR: 5-shot groups - under 1" @ 100yds

.17 HMR: 5-shot groups - under .750" @ 100yds

.22 LR: 5-shot groups - under .375" @ 50yds using match ammo
