Features

The Bushmaster Gas Piston Kit is a Patent-Pending Gas Piston System for MIL-Spec M4 type carbines. It replaces the original gas impingement system tube and bolt carrier with a robust short-stroke piston and operating rod that is designed to enhance the controllability and reliability of your rifle under adverse conditions.

Carbine length and ribbed hand guards keep swing weight to a minimum and the Thumbhole molded of rugged Synthetic material.

The heavy profile barrel, with chrome lined bore and chamber, offers exceptional accuracy for it's length and is externally manganese phosphate finished for complete protection against corrosion and rust - as are all critical steel parts of the carbine.

The forged, lightweight 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers have all M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold open and raised ridges for magazine release button protection.
