Full-length one-piece Mauser claw extractors lock cartridges in position for flawless feeding and extraction under the toughest field conditions, unlike common push-feed or clip extractor designs.

Actions are pillar bedded for strength and accuracy. Twin aluminum pillars are bonded into every stock and support the receiver under guard screw tension and recoil. Match grade triggers set at 3.5-4 pounds break sharp and clean.

Kimber rifles have a positive, three-position wing safety. The rear position is on safe and locks the bolt, the middle is on safe but unlocks the bolt for loading and unloading, and the forward position permits firing.
