It’s traveling at a velocity of 3320. At this velocity it would make an ideal long range shooting rifle. The projectile would be suitable for shooting everything from rabbits up to small deer. In the right hands I don’t doubt that you could probably drop the biggest stag. Primarily the cartridge was introduced to add some versatility to the 270 range. If you’ve never fired 100 grain projectiles in you 270, then it would be a good thing to try. They are extremely fast and flat, so would offer you some exciting shooting. ***A Firearms licence is required to purchase ammunition***
