These were a sought after and expensive gun in their day. This one retains 75% of it’s original blue, still has it’s factory sights on it, and runs in action very similar to the Mauser 98, but having much cleaner and nicer lines to it. The rifle also has a steel magazine floor plated trigger guard, and factory swivels are still fitted. The stock however is a little worse for wear, showing some bruising and marks from where it has been carried. It also has a crack down the back of the tan, on top of the pistol grip. It has a small piece of timber missing on the right hand side next to the safety. The rifle also comes fitted with a set of Weaver pivot mounts which were the mount to have in their day. A true classic rifle.
