This would be an excellent project for someone.  This gun is an original military 03 Springfield, but it has had the original military stock cut down.  A new stock and some of the forward metal fittings, which can be easily purchased would turn this gun back into an original military configuration, at the same time adding a lot to it’s value, and would be an easy way to get a desirable military rifle.
