Kimber's 84M series was boosted this year by the addition of the Montana, the company's first stainless/synthetic rifle. Weighing in at five pounds, five ounces in the heaviest chambering, it is built to be a serious hunting tool. And, like all 84M models, it was designed specifically as a short-action rifle. 308 Win., this is a great deer rifle for hunters who hoof it through rugged country.
