It’s not often that we come across custom made L1A1 rifles. This one is in extremely tidy condition externally. The parkerising is in very good condition without any major marks or scratches. Internally the gun is also in excellent condition with all the working parts suffering no major wear, damage or modification.
The gun has also been fitted with 28” heavy stainless steel barrel which is in 90% of new condition. Also retro fitted is an L2A1 heavy barrel Lithgow bi-pod. These bi-pods act as a fore end, as well as the folding bi-pod they have wooden panels to make it more comfortable. The rifle is also fitted with a synthetic A Class butt stock which includes a 1” rubber recoil pad for comfort.
This is an unusual rifle only because of the configuration it’s in and we don’t expect to see another built like this for a long time. It would have cost quite a bit of money to build. It’s obviously been somebody’s pride and joy! And it soon could be yoursJ
