The Smith & Wesson Model 586 is a 6 shot double action revolver chambered for 357 Magnum and it also chambers and fires 38 special ammunition.  The 586 / 686 revolvers are built on Smith & Wesson’s L frame.  These revolvers are extremely popular and very well made in.  These guns have a well deserved reputation of being used n both law enforcement and sporting markets.  For a long time in the early days, it was the most popular 357 magnum revolver we sold.  The gun pictured here is extremely tidy and the gun retains 95% of it’s original blue.  There is a small amount of holster wear on the muzzle, but you have to look ard to see it.

The barrel is clean and bright with no marks at all.  A good set of factory wooden grips are on the gun and it also has fully adjustable sights.  As we’ve already said this gun is extremely tidy and would pass any test and if it’s like most of the other Smith & Wesson guns of this type, it probably won’t last very long on our shelves.
