Make: Ingram Cal: 45ACP Mod: Mach 10 Barrel Length: 6” / 153mm Barrel Condition: new Finish: blued Grip type: wood feed system Detachable box Mag Capacity: 10 Sights: fixed front and rear Made in: USA New/Used: new The Mac 10 is built predominantly from steel stampings. a notched cocking handle protrudes from the top of the receiver and by turning the handle 90 degrees, the bolt locks and this indicates that the weapon is unable to fire. The Mac 10 has a telescoping bolt which wraps around the barrel this allows a more compact design and balances the weight of the weapon over the pistol grip where the magazine is located. The Mac 10 fires from an open bolt. In addition the light weight of the bolt results in a rapid rate of fire. The barrel is threaded to except a suppressor. At the suggestion of the US army Ingram added a small bracket with a hand strap beneath the muzzle to aid in controlling recoil during full-auto fire. The Mac 10 Ingram shown here is very unusual as it is the US Army Special Forces Commemorative Model. The gun is finished in high lustre blue with gold plating on the entire barrel cocking handle, trigger, the fold-down portion of the wire butt stock and the action pins. This is a very rare gun, in unused condition and is immaculate throughout with no wear on any of the blue surfaces and no wear or marks on any of the gold plating. For someone this could be a very good opportunity to own an unusual part of firearms history. Of course being a submachine gun it is subject to C class licensing.
