McMillan Tactical Takedown Stock The Takedown 50 cal is a short compact stock to suit most 50cal actions. It comes with a no tools removable butt stock for storage and transportation in standard gun cases. The fore end is very short, about 15” from the pistol grip to the tip of the stock in a design for bi-pod use only. It is equipped with a spacer system for adjusting the length of pull. For the action and barrel area forward of the pistol grip is 60mm square. McMillan is a company with an excellent reputation for furnishing after market synthetic stocks. This particular stock in it’s unmodified form, weighs 3.13kg / 5.9lbs.
