This model is chambered for the popular and inexpensive 7.62x39 cartridge so it can fire readily available and inexpensive surplus ammunition as well as new soft point ammo. The Norinco JW-103 features a forged and milled steel receiver, solid steel components, detachable steel 5-shot magazine, and adult-sized stock. Using the standard 125gr soft point ammo this calibre will easily knock down most medium sized game like Deer, Goats, Wallabies & Pigs.
