This is a SKK with a detachable 5 shot magazine and 16inch barrel which can be purchased with an A class license. The 7.62x39 ammunition this rifle fires would be one of the cheapest ammunitions you can buy in New Zealand. We have it in soft point or foremetal jacket . The cartridge is an effective killer on goats wallabies the smaller deer species and other similar size game . These rifles are short and light , easy to carry and being semiautomatic have the firepower, they also take a factory ak47 magizine. So if you are looking for a hunting rifle or a rifle just to shoot some targets and have some fun this would certainly be up there with the best of them.
