Unfortunately the gun we’re looking at is not genuine but is a very good build-up with what appears to be authentic equipment. The rifle has originally started life as a Mauser K98 and at a later stage a detachable side mounted Scope have been fitted. The barrel in the rifle is in good condition and has a standard graying bore. The stock as mentioned is laminated and has a few dings and scratches as you would expect from a full stocked military rifle that could quite possibly have been used in action. Although it is more than likely a copy, these types of guns in this form are still very difficult to get even if you are trying to build one today. It would be an expensive process locating all the parts required. If you are an enthusiast and are looking for a rifle for military reenactment or military rifle shooting this could be a worthwhile option worth considering.
