The 9mm German Luger would be one of the most recognizable handguns ever and considered extremely desirable by gun collectors.  This example is probably at the lower end of the scale.  The bluing is worn and patchy.  The grips have a piece broken away on the right hand side and the gun is mismatched in the numbers.  The weapon is marked S42 which indicates that it is from the Mauser factory.  The barrel has no pitting or rust, but has been used, and the barrel shows it.  This may not be the prettiest gun in the bunch, but it is still 9mm Luger and still extremely desirable as a gun, regardless of the condition.  It is complete and functioning.  Worth having a look at if you’re after an entry level Luger for your collection.
