This stock is manufactured by Butler Creek in America, one of the numerous styles of stocks they make. Butler Creek stocks are considered to be of very good quality, well designed and excellent value for money.
This stock suits the Ruger Mini 14 and Ruger Mini 30.
The stock is fitted with a pistol grip which is integral as part of the stock. The folding portion is manufactured of steel and has a small rubber recoil pad fitted.
With this stock fitted to your rifle you would require a C class licence because the overall length would be less than 762mm. If a muzzle brake or flash eliminator is permanently fitted it will take it over the legal length, and therefore a E class licence will be acceptable.
Folding stocks are not permitted on A class semi-autos.
A small amount of work is required to move some of the parts from the wooden stock and put on to a the new stock. This task is easily achieved with a flat bladed screwdriver.
