This auction is for a genuine colletible Hungarian made steel helmet M38 "Model 38" sometimes called the "Finnish M35".
We have several of these helmets so the photos are just an indication of the average condition of the helmets.
They were manufactured prior to WWII in Hungary.
They served in armies prior to and all through WWII and right into the 1970s in some countries.
They are complete with leather liner and leather chin strap.
These helmets were made in several different head sizes ranging from 55cm through to 61cm, but they will fit most head sizes
During Continuation war 1941-44 Hungarian m/38 was the most common helmet in Finnish army.
Hungarian helmet differs from German model by its cotter pins situated behind ventilation holes, and by it's holding loop in the neck.
