This consistency is due to the solid components of the fill not settling as much as cheaper balls, remaining in suspension, allowing the ball to shoot more accurately. In addition the ball is rounder, and softer so that it will break on impact and allow a tournament player to score a hit. If you want to drive a ball at maximum speed and avoid breakages, go for a harder ball. If you want tournament accuracy and reliable breaks on hits, this is your paint.
