Terms and Conditions of the Free Flight Home Offer

Yes, that's right!  Spend $2000 or more and were happy to pay the full costs of your airfare home up to a maximum value of $200.  You do not need to give us any forward notice.  You do not need to book this special, it is open to all comers.  At the time of paying for your goods on the day, simply present your ticket with receipt for payment, and we will re-fund you the cost of that leg of your journey in full up to a maximum of $200 including GST.  This offer is limited to a maximum of $200, so we're sorry if you're unable to find a ticket home for less than that.  Anything over $200 will not be covered by Gun City.  We're advising you early in the hope that you can obtain some really low priced airfares which will be beneficial for both you and Gun City Ltd.  We look forward to seeing you on the day.

 

Online Shopping

We can accept payment by Visa/Mastercard through our secure online shopping facility, over the phone, or by fax.

 

Freight/Shipping

We ship Monday to Friday so Saturday and Sunday orders will be processed Monday (which means no overnight for Sat-Sun orders). Also our couriers dont have an overnight service for rural and ammunition deliveries.

 

Layby Policy

20% Deposit required to initiate layby.

Instalments will be made weekly/fortnightly (minimum of 10% per week for the duration of the layby.

Payment must be complete within 2 months.

The layby merchandise will remain our property until the purchase price is paid in full.

We will deliver the layby merchandise to you in accordance with our usual delivery policies once the purchase price has been paid in full.

On cancellation by either party, we will contact you to credit your account for the amount of any payments you have made, less an admin fee of the 20% deposit (being an estimate of our selling and storage costs in respect of the layby merchandise).

In these Terms, "we", "our" and "us" means Gun City Limited and "you" means our customer.

A request to layby is considered an agreement to the Terms and Conditions above.

Warranty

 

a) Gun City Ltd reserves the right to withhold or refuse warranty service whilst the purchaser's credit account is in arrears.
b) All products purchased from Gun City Ltd are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Please check the warranty reference from manufacturers.
c) Gun City Ltd will provide warranty service only in respect to products that were supplied by Gun City Ltd.
d) No warranty is expressed or implied as to the quality or fitness of the products for any particular purpose or otherwise.
e) Gun City Ltd will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury to the purchaser or to any other person or to the property of the purchaser or any other person arising out of the use or possession of the Products.
f) Note, that in all circumstances the Manufacturers warranty is void if:
There is evidence of improper configuration.
There is evidence of water damage.
There is evidence of physical abuse, any item damaged in transit should be reported as soon as received. Please read Product Returns section below for further instructions.
There is evidence of misuse including accidental or intentional abuse.
There is evidence of previous repair by another repair centre other than Gun City approved repairers.
There is no record of purchase from Gun City. We will do our best to look for your sales information, but ultimately it is your responsibility to retain your sales receipt.

 

 

 

Pricing and Stock

All prices listed are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax unless otherwise stated. Our pricing structure is different to our in store pricing structure. Prices are primarily listed in New Zealand dollars. The price advertised might not be the same price charged to Credit Cards not from New Zealand due to exchange rate fluctuations. This means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to process your purchase at the New Zealand dollar exchange rate on the day it is processed. Prices may change without notice. Gun City endeavours to carry sufficient stock at all times, although stock is subject to availability - if we do not have an item you have ordered in stock - we will advise you of this and you can choose from:
1.) An alternative product.
2.) We will advise a delivery date, if acceptable we will process your order when the item is available.
3.) Not process your order, and refund any monies paid.

 

 

 

Confirming Prices

 

Items in your Shopping Cart will reflect the most recent price displayed on the item's product detail page. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the price shown at that time. It is also possible that an item's price may decrease between the time you place it in your cart and the time you purchase it. Many discounts are limited time offers. The discount we offer for any item is dependent upon its availability.

We cannot confirm the price of an item until you order. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items on any of our sites may be mispriced. If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

 

 

 

 

Payment Processing

 

We do NOT charge credit cards until after the order has entered the shipping process. Upon an order placement we will send you an order confirmation and/ or a confirmation that your credit card has been verified. These order confirmations are not a receipt for payment. If you have submitted your credit card details for payment of items from any Gun City Limited site; your card will be verified by a third party to confirm the card is not stolen, fraudulent or lost and that the requested funds are available. This is also called a pre-authorization hold check and may appear as a pending transaction on your online bank statement. These requests are not actual charges.

 

 

 

Electronic Communication

 

When you interact with any of our websites or send us e-mails, you are communicating with us electronically. You agree to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail. You agree that all agreements, notices, conditions, advertisements, disclosures and other communications that we send to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Product Returns

a) No product will be accepted for return without obtaining prior written authorization from Gun City Ltd. Freight, handling and insurance charges will be at the cost of the Purchaser.
b) Gun City Ltd may, but is not obliged to, accept the return of any product that was ordered and correctly supplied.
c) If product was delivered incorrectly or with defects or damage, the purchaser must inform Gun City Ltd in writing within three days of receipt of the product. The notification must quote the relevant invoice number and must include all the necessary details of the incorrect delivery, defect or damage. If purchaser fails to notify Gun City Ltd, the purchaser shall be deemed to have received the product in good order and condition and that the same had been delivered in accordance with the purchaser's order.
d) Without express permission from Gun City any product that has been authorized for return must be returned in a Pristine state.
e) In the event Gun City Ltd has agreed to refund for goods, the goods must first be returned to Gun City Ltd in pristine state.  Pristine state is described as all original packaging, with all original parts, nothing damaged or dirty. Products not returned in pristine state may incur charges to replace the missing or damaged parts, or non refund of part or the entire purchase price.
f) Please note that our staff will test all returned products to determine the nature of the defect or if the item is defective at all. If an item is returned as defective, and after testing it is deemed to have been in good working order, the item will be returned to the customer as it was received.  A fee of $30 may be charged for testing fees, handling, and return shipping, handling and insurance. This fee then needs to be paid before your non-faulty goods will be returned. Please test the defective item(s) prior to sending the item back for warranty service. This will save you time and money.
